Wat Muang

Wat Muang (วัดม่วง) in Ang Thong is a popular destination. The ubosot is surrounded by the biggest lotus petals in the world and within the temple compound, there are figures of heaven and hell, Thai god paradise, Chinese god paradise, and a huge statue of Kuan Im female goddess. But the main attraction now is this giant Buddha statue which is 92 meters high and 63 meters wide. It was completed in 2008.
