Wat Ming Muang

Wat Ming Muang

Founded in 1857, Wat Ming Muang (วัดพระบาทมิ่งเมือง) is one of the “must-see” temples in Nan province. Famous for its elaborate ubosot with beautiful white carved stucco exterior and great carvings. It also has interesting murals depicting the way of life of the Nan people. The temple grounds also houses the city pillar, which is enshrined in a four-sided Thai-style pavilion just in front of the ubosot.
