Wat Phrathat Khao Noi (วัดพระธาตุเบ็งสกัด) is located on the top of a hill which gives some fine views of Nan town and the surrounding countryside. The construction of the stupa and wihan were completed in 1283. Inside the pagoda, it is believed that relics of the Lord Buddha are enshrined. In the temple grounds, there is a large Standing Buddha that looks down on the town. All photos I have seen of this iconic image is from behind, but the drone allows you to see a clear view of the face.
