Koh Panyi (also known as Koh Panyee) is a muslim fishing village in Phang Nga Province in Southern Thailand. It is notable for being built on stilts by fishermen at the end of the 18th Century. The population today consists of 360 families or 1,685 people descended from two seafaring Muslim families from Java. The only building on dry land is the mosque. The village is famous for a floating football pitch.

Dear Mr. Barrow,
I hope you are in good health. I was wondering if it would be possible to use one of your photographs captured at Koh Panyi for a write-up that I am doing? As it should be, I will be more than delighted to acknowledge your contribution. Looking for a favorable reply from your end. Thank you.
Regards,
Parveen Gill
Sure, no problem
