To mark Asahna Bucha Day in Thailand, Thai Buddhists make merit by offering alms to monks at their local temple. In Surin they do things a bit differently. This province is the home to Thai elephants and so the monks collects arms on elephant back during this ceremony. The event takes place every year on the full moon in July.
